SCACE Annual Conference 2024
The SCACE Board and the 2024 Conference Committee are thrilled to announce that our annual conference takes us to Greenville, SC, renowned for its beautiful downtown including the Liberty Bridge and nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Dates: May 15-17, 2024
Venue: Springhill Suites, 200 E. Washington St., Greenville, SC (hotel group rate is $169 per night before taxes available until April 24, 2024)

We are partnering with Citizen Scholars, a nonprofit based in the Greenville-Spartanburg region to provide life skills, knowledge, and character development programming to eligible 6th-12th grade students to better prepare them for college. All of the students are first generation and have one or more of the following risk behaviors:

Registrants of the 2024 Annual Conference have the opportunity to participate in an employer visit to Fluor Field on Day 1 of the conference (Wednesday, May 15). While waiting for the President's Reception to begin at 5p, join us as we learn more about all The Greenville Drive at Fluor Field!
The Greenville Drive, the High-A South Atlantic League affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, are entering their 19th year at award-winning Fluor Field in downtown Greenville as the reigning SAL Champions – their second title in team history. Since 2006, more than 400,000 fans a year have been welcomed to Fluor Field for both Drive games and additional community events. In 2017, the Drive was honored with the prestigious John H. Johnson President’s Award, presented by Minor League Baseball and given to “the total baseball franchise,” based on contributions to baseball in the community, promotion of the baseball industry, financial stability and contributions to league stability. The Drive also received the prestigious 2020 Freitas Award, which recognizes the nation’s top Single-A MiLB franchise. One hundred and nine Drive alumni have gone on to play at the major-league level.
Join SCACE on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 from 1 to 2 pm for a behind-the-scenes tour of Fluor Field led by Team President, Jeff Brown. Participants will also be offered complimentary tickets (First 30!) to return to Fluor Field for the Drive game on May 16th (7pm first pitch).
